NEW YORK — Apparently, U.S. auto manufacturer health and the performance of auto asset-backed securities continue to cause investor concerns that extend beyond the Big 3 automakers and their captive finance subsidiaries, Fitch Ratings recently reported.

Under concern is "virtually all auto related securitizations and financings," the company indicated.

In response, Fitch's ABS group is hosting a Webcast to discuss performance trends and the state of the major automakers on Friday, Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. (EST).

Managing director and U.S. ABS group head Kevin Duignan will be leading the discussion. He will be joined by the following Fitch analysts:

—Mark Oline, head of North America corporate ratings

—John Bella, head of the U.S. auto ABS group

—Chris Wolfe, head of U.S. specialty finance company ratings

A slide presentation will be available during the Webcast, along with a Q&A session immediately after the prepared remarks.

Prepared remarks are expected to last approximately 30 minutes.
