Global Lending Services Taps Former AmeriCredit Executive to Be CIO
ATLANTA — Subprime auto financing provider Global Lending
Services recently appointed a chief information officer.
Tapped for the position was Michael Miller, who has spent
more than 20 years serving in corporate-level positions for both public and
private organizations.
Miller has worked with some of the industry's leading
companies, including serving as chief credit officer and chief operating
officer for AmeriCredit Corp., where he led the development of analytics,
technology, marketing and operations.
Most recently, Miller served as the chief strategy and
technology officer for Sixth Gear, leading the technology platform that
launched the business.
GLS chief executive officer Steve Thibodeau highlighted that
Miller possesses a consummate level of talent and industry knowledge that is
supported by many years of progressive experience.
"We are very excited about Mike joining GLS to lead our
technology agenda," Thibodeau said. "A key component to our strategy is
becoming a technology leader in the sub-prime auto finance industry, enabling
us to provide industry leading service to our dealer customers.
"Mike's diverse background in technology, strategy, credit

GLS," Thibodeau went on to say.
