WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -

GWC Warranty, a provider of vehicle service contracts and related finance and insurance products sold through dealers, finalized an expansion of its headquarters before 2014 closed.

Officials highlighted GWC’s state-of-the-art facility has been expanded to almost 20,000 square feet. The new space was built adjacent to the existing area in Coal Street Park in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

Officially unveiled on Dec. 17, the new 3,000 square-foot area features numerous work stations and private offices, all equipped with advanced technology and communication equipment.

“We’re extremely pleased to be able to expand our facility to continue to offer our employees an energized work environment,” GWC Warranty chief executive officer and president Rob Glander said.

“Building out this space allows us to accommodate new talent to help us further support the needs of our dealers and their customers,” Glander continued.

The expansion is one of many updates for the company in 2014.

In July, GWC announced an expanded product offering, including a certified pre-owned program and launched the GWC Elite Dealer Program to provide its top dealers with exclusive benefits.

The company now offers a dealer portal with e-contracting capabilities to help dealers remit contracts and get back to selling cars faster than ever before.

“Upgrading our talent, our products, our tools and our facility were steps needed to continue to deliver on our promise to our dealer partners,” Glander said.

“We’ve made these changes to continue to help them sell more cars by giving their car shoppers the confidence to become car buyers,” he added.

The expanded facility was designed by Highland Associates and built by Quandel Construction Group.
