CARMEL, Ind. — Buy-here, pay-here dealership chain J.D.
Byrider turned its 1 millionth vehicle in company history earlier this month,
celebrating the milestone for the benefit of the purchaser.

The retail achievement took place at the J.D. Byrider
dealership located at 635 Washington St. in South Attleboro, Mass. Katelyn
Wilson of Natick, Mass., ended up winning a 2006 Hyundai Tiburon as J.D.
Byrider has paid off her contract and refunded her down payment, enabling the 20-year-old
child care center worker to have the vehicle for free.

"I was in complete shock. I didn't believe it at first," said
Wilson, who secured the vehicle on May 14.

Dealership owner Lance Vachon said he was thrilled to sell
the millionth vehicle and be able to give it to Wilson in celebration of the
milestone.

"We love this community and are excited for the opportunity
to give back," said Vachon, who has served customers since 2002.

Gerry Vachon, Lance Vachon's father and successful franchised
dealer in the South Attleboro area added, "I've grown up in this town and have
been around here all my life. This is one of the most meaningful events I've
been a part of, and it's wonderful that we're able to help this young lady."

J.D. Byrider chief executive officer Steve Wedding also was
on hand for the official presentation of the vehicle.

"It's been quite a ride," Wedding said about the company
retailing its 1 millionth vehicle. "I joined J.D. Byrider more than 20 years
ago when we had only a few dealerships. I'm proud to see Jim DeVoe's vision
more of a reality every day. We've focused on selling good cars for people who
need credit and we're really glad Katie chose Byrider as the way to go."

J.D. Byrider Advertising Group president Jim England chimed
in, saying "I've had the privilege of working with Byrider since 1996 when
there were fewer than 100 dealerships and we had just hit the 100,000 sales
number. I really want to thank all of our dealerships for working hard to
establish good relationships with our customers.

"In particular, here in southern New England, I want to
thank the Wiggins family, owners of five Byrider dealerships in this area, and
the Vachons, for helping to build the Byrider brand here and position us as the
place to shop," England went on to say.

Late last year, J.D. Byrider reached another milestone — $1
billion in outstanding retail installment contracts.

During the 24 years the company has been in business, it has
sold and financed cars for customers with credit challenges who may otherwise
not be able to secure reliable transportation.

And, J.D. Byrider insisted that it has maintained 95 percent
sales satisfaction and 91 percent service satisfaction ratings across the
dealership network.
