J.D. Byrider Hires New VP of Franchise Development
CARMEL, Ind. — J.D. Byrider has hired a new vice president to run the company's franchise development.
Taking on the position is Michael Pearce. He will be responsible for increasing the number of locations by licensing new franchisees to J.D. Byrider's system, as well as bolstering growth in new markets.
"During the past 20 years, we've developed a successful franchise model with an incredible support system," explained Steve Wedding, president of Byrider Franchising.
"Mike's experience growing franchise organizations is a perfect match for J.D. Byrider, and we're enthusiastic about what we can accomplish with him on our team," he explained.
Pearce, a 20-year franchising veteran, will also be in charge of licensing existing franchisees for expansion and, along with the company's real estate team, he is responsible for site selection and construction consulting for the group.
His background includes working as senior vice president of development for bd's Mongolian Grill, vice president of franchise development for Domino's Pizza and Sagittarius Brands, director of franchise development for Back Yard Burgers and he spent 10 years selling build-to-suit development services for various brands and industries.
"I have spent my entire career assisting franchisees in expanding their business and net worth," Pearce highlighted.
