AUSTELL, Ga. — Kia Motor Finance Co. recently held grand opening ceremonies for its new Southeast Regional Service Center in Austell, Ga.

The new center will provide full retail credit and funding services for Kia dealers in the Southern and Eastern regions and allow KMFC to service its dealers more effectively from within the Eastern Time Zone, according to officials.

"This new location is centrally located in the booming Atlanta metropolis," explained Michael Buckingham, president and chief executive officer of KMFC. "The Kia dealer base is growing and this new facility will enable us to offer even better service and quicker response time for our dealers."

Lori Toole, national manager of credit services for KMFC, added, "The staff here at the Southeast Regional Service Center is highly experienced in the automotive industry.

"We were fortunate in that we found a great deal of automotive experience among the local labor force. We hired locally and our dealers are pleased with the seasoned team," Toole pointed out. 

The facility's 20,000 square feet includes office and warehouse space, with 23 full-time credit and funding employees.

The address is 7775 The Bluffs, Austell, Ga., and the facility is located just west of Atlanta.

Since opening its doors in 1989, KMFC indicated that it has sustained tremendous growth. As a full-service auto finance company, KMFC serves Kia dealers nationwide, with consumer vehicle financing, as well as dealer inventory and facility financing.
