SARASOTA, Fla. — Leedom Group announced that in an effort to better serve the needs of its dealer clients and the buy-here, pay-here industry as a whole, it has moved the dates of next year’s Buy-Here, Pay-Here World Convention to April 16–18 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

After Leedom Group chief executive officer and convention founder Chris Leedom and convention chairman Chuck Bonanno recently invited seven dealers from across the country to form a convention Dealer Advisory Committee, the committee was charged with program development as well as helping to determine agenda topics, speakers and training leaders.

Based on feedback from the committee’s initial meetings, the company decided that a spring convention, following tax season, is the “perfect time to to hold an event serving the buy-here, pay-here industry. “

The 2011 convention was held this past September.

“The April 16-18 event will give dealers the opportunity to bring managers and other key personnel, and have the ability to plan for a more successful financial outcome for that year,” officials noted.

Holding a spring convention also allows for more time between this event and the company’s invitation-only Super Group Strategic Planning meeting typically hosted later in the year.

Leedom went on to comment on the recent changes as well as plans for the future: “We are always on the look out for ideas, trends and topics that can make the dealer’s job of operating his dealership more efficiently and profitably.

“We do this every day when we operate our own buy-here, pay-here and lease-here, pay-here dealerships and when we meet with and speak to our 20 Group clients. At our recent convention in Las Vegas, we focused on improving operational efficiencies,” Leedom continued.

“As we go forward, we’ll be looking for new efficiencies and trends and discussing them with our the Dealer Advisory Committee," he added. "This more formal structure in determining convention content will create a grassroots, dealer-centric agenda. Who best to drive an agenda than seven dealers from across the country that know what they want from an industry trade event?”

“We are committed to our mission of providing our customers with the expertise and wherewithal to succeed, period. Having a formal committee designed to address dealer needs and interests to help guide BHPH World Convention  2012 is an exciting step in fulfilling this mission,” Leedom concluded.
