ATLANTA — Manheim Auto Financial Services announced today that it set a new record in 2007 — 1 million new-vehicle floor-planning originations.

To celebrate, MAFS leaders traveled to Manheim Nevada to personally reward the buyer of the 1 millionth unit.

"If I could sum up my experience with MAFS in one phrase, it would be tremendously easy," said Rabbit Downward, inventory control manager for Executive Car Sales, in St. George, Utah.

"I travel across the western part of the country to purchase vehicles and deal with a variety of companies," he continued. "When I shared this with the MAFS team, they immediately sold me on MAFS as a one-stop solution. I can call Katie Louk and the MAFS team at Manheim Nevada with any questions and they respond immediately. My business has grown as a result of our partnership."

Executive Car Sales was awarded the car it intended to floor plan, a 2002 Honda Accord. According to officials, the company has been a longtime user of MAFS.

"This accomplishment is a reflection of our customers' trust in us and the hard work by every MAFS employee. I am grateful for everyone's dedication to this goal and the energy that was put into making it a success," said Kathy Decker, vice president and general manager of MAFS.

"MAFS reached several milestones in 2007, but having our customers select us in such a big way for their financing needs is one we are most proud of," she pointed out.

MAFS is also celebrating 15 years of operation this year, and a variety of activities are in place to support this milestone. For more details, stay tuned to SubPrime Auto Finance News.
