CARMEL,
Ind. — A franchised dealer group decided to open a J.D. Byrider location to
augment its Michigan operations with a buy-here, pay-here store.

J.D. Byrider
revealed this week that Serra Automotive rolled out the location two minutes
north of the Al Serra Auto Plaza in Grand Blanc, Mich. The store situated near
the corner of South Saginaw Street and Maple Avenue is the first J.D. Byrider
franchise in Genesee County and the first for the Serra Automotive dealership
network.

"‘Good cars for people who need credit' is the
J.D. Byrider slogan and that statement explains their corporate philosophy
best," said Joe Serra, Serra Automotive president and new J.D. Byrider
franchisee.

"For
people with credit challenges as well as young drivers just starting out, we
can provide dependable vehicles, affordable financing and payments to fit their
budgets. Plus, we focus on exceptional service after the sale," Serra added.

According to the store's general manager, Don
Pascoe, his J.D. Byrider location features a 17-bay service department and
offers a 24-month/24,000-mile warranty.

"We are
committed to achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction," Pascoe
insisted. "Our goal is to build a relationship based on trust. Getting people
in a quality vehicle, getting them financed and treating everyone with respect
is what it's all about."

In
addition to the new Genesee County location, J.D. Byrider recently opened new
stores in East Dundee, Ill.; Waco, Texas; Highland, Ind.; Richmond, Va.; Oak
Lawn, Ill.; and Opelika, Ala.

With
these new stores, J.D. Byrider now has 139 locations in 31 states with plans to
open additional stores later this year.
