HOUSTON — The National Alliance of Buy-Here, Pay-Here Dealers is gearing up not only for its annual conference, but also a special training session beforehand organizers are describing as "for attendees who want to excel in the BHPH business."

NABD will hold a Dealer Academy at the Venetian/The Palazzo on May 14 through 16. In addition, the alliance will conduct its 14th annual national conference on May 16 through 18 also at The Venetian/The Palazzo.

Kenneth Shilson, NABD founder and conference chairman explained, "The Dealer Academy will provide in-depth dual-track training for operators who are new to the industry and for experienced operators seeking to improve their profits and cash flow."

Shilson also mentioned the academy will include training on all facets of BHPH operations and will feature many of the nation's leading operators and experts.

"The academy is only for attendees who want to excel in the BHPH business," he emphasized.

Immediately following the academy, NABD will host its conference exclusively for BHPH operators. The alliance believes the event is the largest used-vehicle conference in the United States with 2,000 attendees expected again this year.

Shilson pointed out the conference will update attendees on all the latest industry developments and trends. The exhibit hall will feature more than 125 exhibitors with all the latest products and services, as well as capital providers.

The event agenda also includes updates on all the latest legal and regulatory developments from several of the nation's leading attorneys.
