WESTERVILLE, Ohio — National Auto Care Corp., an administrator of vehicle service contract programs, said this week its merger with Family First Dealer Services, a company whose core focus is on providing unique F&I product offerings, has been completed.

As announced earlier this month in SubPrime Auto Finance News, NAC was selected to be the administrator of CarMark Certified, a warranty program that provides CPO warranties to all vehicles, starting Jan. 1.

Regarding this week's announcement, the merger of NAC and FFDS is designed to foster a "one-stop administrative resource for an expansive portfolio of F&I products, leading-edge customer retention programs, and best-in-class customer service to independent agents, their dealers, OEMs and financial institutions nationwide."

The merger is the second F&I industry acquisition done by Trivest Partners, a private investment firm in Miami.

Sharing more details about FFDS, officials noted that it offers F&I products, administration, consulting services, training and marketing support to independent agents, insurance companies, financial institutions, third-party administrators, credit unions and auto manufacturers across the country.

Under the merger, the plan is for the combined entity to expand in their Florida and Ohio locations, both in terms of adding space and people.

The two integrated locations are designed to foster a "new level of support to exceed their customers' needs while strengthening their disaster recovery through operational flexibility."

Tony Wanderon, NAC's new chief executive officer said, "I could not be more excited about the future of our new company and the ability to work with all of the great people at NAC and their agent partners. With Trivest and its leadership team, we are able to utilize their knowledge and expertise to assist us in our mission to become the best provider in the industry."

NAC president Christina Schrank said:  "NAC and FFDS are both companies who are dedicated to quality products and impeccable customer service. Together, we now have the combined capacity to expand and heighten those products and services in the future. We are excited about the great increase in our overall capability to empower new solutions and help drive success for our customers."
