HANOVER, Md. — The National Automotive Finance Association and the National Association of Dealer Counsel announced they will hold educational sessions in September and October.

The NAF Association will present a half-day workshop Sept. 23 at the Millennium Hotel in St. Louis. The event will be held in conjunction with the 2007 Special Finance Conference.

A dealer and lender panel is slated to present what dealers expect from finance companies and what finance companies expect from dealers, according to officials.

Moreover, a legal panel plans to address topics of interest that impact both the dealer and finance community.

Meanwhile, the NADC said it will host a fall workshop Oct. 15 to 16 at the Hermitage Hotel in Nashville.

The three sessions will cover an update of F&I Compliance Issues; Privacy, Traversing the Information Security Minefield: Best Practices in Dangerous Territory; and Service and Environmental.

The NADC's Member Conference will be held April 6 to 8, 2008 at the Ritz Carlton in St Louis. Officials said the workshops and member conference are only open to NADC members. CLE credit is available, they added.
