RpmOne Updates Drive Card Program
JUPITER, Fla. — RpmOne recently announced that its RpmOne Drive Card program is now accessible through the Internet.
Dealer-customers can handle applications and sales transactions, as well and manage their Drive Card accounts through the Web, officials noted.
In 2005, the Drive Card program began as a revolving credit program for powersports dealers and their customers. The program provided a point-of-sale credit line for customers.
Continuous promotional credit line programs through the card include:
—90 days, no payments, no interest
—Six months, no interest, minimum payment
—12 months, no interest, minimum payment
With Web access to the Drive Card, dealers can process applications quicker. During beta testing, many of the select participating dealers expressed that they were pleased with the online management.
"RpmOne's new online Drive Card program is easier and faster than ever, allowing me to get more money for my customers," explained Randy Peavy of Route 66 Powersports.
According to the company, one of the program's benefit to dealers is that customers who open a line of credit could potentially also spend more on service agreement and insurance products, parts and accessories, service and maintenance and non-titled units and equipment.
When a customer is approved for the card, the dealership's name is inscribed on the card.
"RPMOne is so pleased to bring this enhanced solution to the powersports industry at a time when we are seeing triple-digit gains in Drive Card sales compared to only a few months ago," said Barry Miller, president of RpmOne.
"With the current economic environment, dealers are seeking additional finance sources for their customers and the online platform simplifies the process for our valued dealer clients," Miller continued.
RpmOne Partners with EagleRider
In other news from RpmOne, officials announced that EagleRider, the world's largest Harley-Davidson rental company, has agreed to partner with RpmOne.
Under the agreement, RpmOne will serve as a provider of training, technology systems and various key products for EagleRider's F&I processes.
"RpmOne is very excited to work with EagleRider given their worldwide footprint and unique strategy to sell motorcycles," stated Sean Hayes, a partner at RpmOne.
EagleRider sells late-model Harleys as well as Honda and BMW motorcycles.
"After a lot of comparing, RpmOne was the right choice for EagleRider," explained John Lemke, manager of EaglerRider. "What sold us was the complete package: great training, products, technology and awesome customer service."
