Russ Darrow Group Opens Another J.D. Byrider Franchise as Part of Used-Store Growth
GREEN BAY, Wisc. — The Russ Darrow Group delved deeper into
the buy-here, pay-here business and broadened its used-vehicle operation this
week by unveiling two new dealerships at one location.
Located at 2800 Ramada Way in Green Bay, Wisc., the group
now is running another Russ Darrow Used Car Superstore, the second of its kind
in its store portfolio. The group has a similar lot in Appleton, Wisc.
Also at this Green Bay location is the newest J.D. Byrider
franchise and the seventh BHPH chain dealership now owned by the Russ Darrow
Group. J.D. Byrider and Russ Darrow work together for a total of seven stores –
five in Wisconsin and two in Colorado.
The Russ Darrow Used Car Superstore of Green Bay and this
J.D. Byrider dealership are on the property formerly known in the market as
Bergstrom Saturn.
At the Russ Darrow Used Car Superstore, the lot plans to
have approximately 150 units, including budget vehicles, certified vehicles,
sport utilities, crossovers, sedans and more. An additional 1,000 vehicles are
available within the Russ Darrow Group system and can be acquired to meet a
customer's specific needs.
The showroom features free Wi-Fi, televisions and a lounge.
The facility also boasts a full-service maintenance and repair facility for all
makes and models with six service bays and the capacity to add on as business
grows.
Russ Darrow Group's Collision Repair Center in Appleton will
manage vehicle damage and body work, according to the group.
Paul McDonald will serve as the new superstore's general
manager, overseeing approximately 25 new hires. A grand opening celebration is
scheduled for later this fall.

the Green Bay market for the very first time," said Mike Darrow, president of
the Russ Darrow Group.

Meanwhile, the Russ Darrow Group bringing on another J.D.
Byrider franchise at this location raises the BHPH chain's network to 151
locations in 30 states. J.D. Byrider has plans to open more than five new
stores by the end of this year.
