StoneEagle rolls out compliance offering for product refunds, hires Apicella as VP
StoneEagle recently revamped its leadership team, and last week, the F&I solutions provider ventured into the compliance business to offer cost-effective solutions for the benefit of the industry and consumers.
As a part of StoneEagle’s enterprise solutions, the company that’s been in operation for more than 35 years highlighted that StoneEagleCOMPLIANCE, along with StoneEagleADMIN and StoneEagleMARKETPLACE can provide SaaS solutions for TPAs, OEMs, insurers, auto finance companies and retailers.
Focused on the industry’s need for improved refund quoting, compliance, and payment processing, StoneEagle also hired Rich Apicella as the company’s vice president of compliance.
As automotive finance compliance has received increased regulatory scrutiny over the last several years, StoneEagle acknowledged there’s been an overarching need to help consumers receive their refund payments faster while also streamlining the current complex process.
Clients using StoneEagleCOMPLIANCE can:
—Access precise refund quotes in real-time from the largest nationwide connected F&I product provider network
—Manage contract forms from a single source system created from a large repository
—Collaborate more effectively with F&I product providers and dealers
—Save both time and money while improving compliance outcomes for their consumers
To help the company provide those benefits, StoneEagle welcomed Apicella, who brings more than 30 years of experience in automotive finance.
Apicella previously served as a partner at Deloitte and the executive vice president of F&I Express, where he spearheaded the launch of a compliance platform that connected finance companies, product providers and dealers to process product cancellation requests and facilitate consumer refunds.
In his new role as vice president of compliance, Apicella will lead the development of the StoneEagleCOMPLIANCE product suite as well as go to market efforts with finance companies, F&I product providers, vendor partners and retailers.
“We are excited to welcome Rich Apicella as our new vice president of compliance,” StoneEagle CEO Cindy Allen said. “At StoneEagle, we already have proven APIs that have consistently supported our customers’ evolving automotive compliance needs for years.
“We are proud to continually invest in expanding these capabilities to ensure our clients remain both compliant and competitive,” Allen added.
