SunTrust to Participate on RouteOne’s eContracting Platform
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — RouteOne announced this week that
SunTrust Bank is now participating on RouteOne's eContracting platform.
According to data from Experian Automotive, SunTrust ranked
among the top 20 auto lenders based on second quarter market share. The bank's
share of the used market was 0.68 percent while its level in the new market
came in at 1.51 percent.
RouteOne insisted its unique eContracting capability can deliver
valuable features and benefits and enable the creation, execution, storage and
management of vehicle finance agreements and ancillary documents.
Officials mentioned eContracting also can provide an imaging
capability, eliminating the need for related paper documents to be sent
separately from the eContract package and streamlining the vehicle financing
process.
"SunTrust has always been a great supporter of RouteOne, and
we are pleased that they will be engaging dealers through the RouteOne
eContracting platform," RouteOne chief executive officer Mike Jurecki said.
"We look forward to working with SunTrust and our shared
customers to recognize the benefits of eContracting, which include faster funding
and reduced charge backs," Jurecki continued.
Rocky Waldrop, head of SunTrust Dealer Financial Services, stated,
"SunTrust is pleased to partner with RouteOne and to provide all the benefits
of eContracting to our mutual dealer clients.
"This efficient platform offers multiple features that can
improve the financing process, resulting in a positive experience for both the
dealer and the client," Waldrop added.
