Va. BHPH Dealer Touts Benefits of PaymentVision, Auto Master Integration
GAITHERSBURG, Md. — C&G Imports, a buy-here, pay-here dealer in Arlington, Va., recently shared how solution integration of PaymentVision and Auto Master helped to enhance security and streamline financial operations for the dealership.
The integration combined the solution capabilities of PaymentVision, which is an electronic payment processing technology provider, with AMS2000 by Auto Master, a provider of receivables management software for the auto loan servicing industry.
"PaymentVision and Auto Master have taken what used to be a two-step process with a card terminal and made it a one-step simple process initiated from within my dealer management software," explained Gavin Marks, president of C&G Imports.
Company executives contend BHPH dealers already are provided with comprehensive accounts receivables management, collector productivity tools and loan closing work flow from Auto Master. They stress the Auto Master system can provide the technical infrastructure vital for the self-financing dealer.
Meanwhile, officials from PaymentVision reiterated that their security protocol includes managing financial account data through the use of tokenization. They explained that with tokenization, financial account data is not stored on the dealer's system. Instead, they indicated the data can be passed directly to PaymentVision where it can be securely stored in a payment vault.
The company went on to note that PaymentVision then can provide a randomly generated, totally unique ID number, the token. Executives mentioned that it can be used to initiate future payments using the same financial account information.
Executives also emphasized that the PaymentVision platform is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant, which they believe is the highest level of compliance available.
Both companies stressed that the integration of services can result in enhanced productivity similar to C&G Imports, which was the first dealership to participate in trial runs.
"By tightly integrating electronic payment processing with the core Auto Master System, we can help our dealers save five minutes in staff time per payment transaction," insisted Brian Hoppel, vice president of Auto Master.
"In addition, PaymentVision is able to support our clients with faster funding and a higher level of security," Hoppel added.
Christopher McClinton, vice president of sales at PaymentVision elaborated on similar points.
"We are pleased to announce the availability of PaymentVision processing for Auto Master AMS2000, which will deliver their clients real-time authorization, faster funds and greater security," McClinton indicated.
"We believe this integration offers users a range of new features designed to streamline accounts receivables management processes and boost collection activity," he concluded.
