MINNEAPOLIS — van Wagenen Financial Services recently formed
a pair of alliances to enhance its loan servicing software with insurance
tracking and placement services.

First, van Wagenen formed a strategic marketing agreement
with Nortridge Software, a Lake Forest, Calif.-based company that provides
lenders and loan servicers with the automation needed to more profitably
originate, service, collect and report on loan portfolios

Randall Rempp, van Wagenen general manager, highlighted the
pact with Nortridge is geared to make coordinated sourcing of loan servicing
software and insurance management possible.

"This agreement is another step forward in making loan
management and collateral protection easy," Rempp said. "Nortridge Software has
the kind of expertise and commitment to the market we are proud to partner
with."

Nortridge president Greg Hindson added, "Loan servicing and
insurance management go hand in hand. The partnership with van Wagenen creates
a closer link between our services ultimately resulting in an easier and more
efficient client experience."

Meanwhile, van Wagenen created a strategic partnership with
Shaw Systems Associates aimed at bringing integrated convenience to servicing
system software and insurance products.

Officials explained the agreement enables Shaw Systems to
offer van Wagenen lender placed insurance products, collateral insurance
tracking and claims services to their clients. They believe this broad offering
represents one of the most comprehensive solutions available for loan and lease
servicing, collections and recovery.

"Our clients have been asking for a more integrated way to
handle their insurance tracking and lender placed product needs," Shaw chief
operating officer Cyndy Stone said.  "The
partnership with van Wagenen allows us to fulfill that need in a very simple
and transparent manner — with a partner that knows the space as well as anyone
in the industry."

Rempp added, "This strategic agreement is one of many which
will be pursued in support of our ultimate goal to expand value added services
provided to the lending industry and van Wagenen clients moving forward.  We are pleased to be working in partnership
with a company of Shaw's history and caliber."
