PORTLAND, Ore. — In addition to moving its store in Arlington, Texas, CarHop announced the grand opening of a new store in Portland, Ore.

This is CarHop's 46th store to open nationwide in its 15-year history.

CarHop has now opened stores in 12 states across the U.S. The Portland location will allow CarHop to further pursue its mission of "helping people drive."

"I'm excited to be opening our landmark store here in Oregon, especially with the great team we've assembled," district manager Bea Swanson said. "CarHop just continues to grow and it is a privilege to help people drive in a great state like Oregon."

CarHop can offer same-day financing decisions with little down and low monthly payments. The company includes an 18-month, 18,000-mile limited warranty on all of its vehicles.

"In this economy, it's wonderful that our unique program can help people who might not otherwise have an opportunity to finance a car in this area," Swanson said. "On top of that, our location is centrally located in Portland to make it easy for customers to stop by and see us."

CarHop Moves Arlington Location

CarHop also recently announced the move of its store in Arlington, Texas, to a new, nearby location.

The new store is only a half mile away from the previous location and gives CarHop customers more space to see vehicles, and "a dramatic improvement for entering and exiting the car lot," according to officials.

"Even though we're only moving half a mile away, the new building is larger, newer and has less traffic surrounding it than the old location," district manager Jerri Greer said. "We are very excited to be moving into such a great space, especially because it will be much easier for our customers to reach us and avoid the heavy Cowboy Stadium and railroad traffic."

The new location is not the only thing CarHop employees are excited about.

"We love being able to help our customers get in a car and start rebuilding their credit," Greer said. "And it feels even better knowing our customers will be able to easily get out of the lot after we've given them the keys to their new car."
