COLUMBUS, Ohio — In an effort to support its dealers partners and drive more auto loans, Huntington Bank announced it will be the presenting sponsor of the 2012 Columbus Auto Show being held March 15–18 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

"Huntington is enthusiastic about our support of automobile dealers in Ohio, and we're proud to be a presenting sponsor for the Columbus International Auto Show," said Rich Porrello, director of Huntington Automobile Finance.

As part of the show, a charity gala will be held the evening of March 14, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Proceeds from the event, which is sponsored by the Columbus Dispatch, will benefit A Kid Again and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

"Huntington is committed to making a real difference by investing in businesses, not-for-profits organizations and neighborhoods in an effort to help communities grow," said James Kunk, central Ohio regional president. "By investing our time, talent and resources in our communities and supporting efforts like the Columbus Auto Show, we know we can make our communities stronger."

The show will feature a variety of foreign and domestic vehicles on display. In addition, there will be family entertainment, guest appearances and contests to win prizes. Tickets are $8 for adults. Children 12 and under are free, when accompanied by an adult.
