NAPA, Calif. — California-based non-prime auto finance
company United Auto Credit recently selected fellow Golden State operation AUL
to be its national service contract provider, creating what top executives
described as a formidable team based on the combined strength of field
representation and dealer base the two companies possess.

Currently in the national rollout phase, both AUL and UACC
believe that the co-branded vehicle service contract they developed will add
business to the portfolios of both companies.

To date, officials said dealer response has been strong with
a number of dealers signing up to take advantage of the service contract
program.

"AUL and UACC are a perfect fit," AUL chief operating officer
Jimmy Atkinson declared.

"By working jointly to bring together the strengths of both
companies, and providing terrific products, we add value to both company's
dealers and their customers," Atkinson continued.

As the two companies worked together during a six-month
pilot program, officials insisted it became increasingly evident how well the
teams clicked, and the programs that were developed fit both companies business
model.

Additionally, management noted integration of the technology
used by both companies was a key advantage and is helping to provide a seamless
launch to all United Auto Credit dealers.

"Common sense thinking differentiates UACC in the automotive
lender space and allows us to create intimate dealer and customer
relationships. AUL fits perfectly into our approach as their market knowledge,
claims expertise and outstanding reputation truly complement the UACC
offering," said Jim Vagim, president and chief executive officer of UACC.

"AUL has shown the expertise in the vehicle service contract
industry and proven that they have the technology and team to be an enthusiastic
partner with UACC," Vagim went on to say. "By teaming with AUL we offer our
dealers a seamless solution to provide their customers with protection that
complements the UACC loans."
