HUDSON, Ohio -

Nationwide recovery management services provider Millennium Capital and Recovery Corp. recently hired Alison Kinnear as general counsel and chief compliance officer.

Millennium indicated Kinnear will lead the company’s in-house legal and compliance activities.

President Jayne Bronchetti highlighted the addition of Kinnear will further serve to strengthen the Millennium’s compliance monitoring and training program for its employees and its national network of independent agents.

In addition to her role, Kinnear serves as a resource for Millennium's customers in the interpretation and implementation of best practices related to federal and state consumer financial protection laws and regulations.

Kinnear recently achieved the designation of Certified Consumer Credit Compliance Professional from the National Automotive Finance Association.

“Our company is focused at the highest levels on investing in the necessary resources to remain the premier national recovery management service provider in our industry,” Bronchetti said. “Ms. Kinnear brings the expertise and knowledge that will allow us to continue the rollout of our company’s ComplianceFIRST Solutions suite of programs designed to meet the regulatory demands of our industry.”

Kinnear has more than 20 years of legal experience in the areas of litigation, corporate law, regulatory and compliance law and contracts, which makes her well qualified to meet the growing demands of her position.

Prior to joining Millennium, Kinnear served with Travelers as general counselor for the two-hub Great Lake Claims Center and claims attorney at Progressive Casualty Insurance Co.

Furthermore, Kinnear was president and owner of Let Me Be Brief, and senior counsel, legal and regulatory affairs, with Cole Managed Vision and served in several other litigation capacities for private law firms and judicial court positions.
