Reynolds and Reynolds partners with Sunbit for financing in service drive
Sunbit and Reynolds and Reynolds announced an integration partnership last week.
The move is meant to enable dealerships to convert more repair orders by utilizing the Reynolds Retail Management System and Sunbit’s financing technology to leverage real-time data and prescreen customers at different stages of the service journey.
According to a news release, the service is set to launch in the second quarter.
The companies highlighted the integration features automated prescreening technology that can evaluate customers for financing offers throughout their service journey.
This process can generate firm offers of credit without requiring additional customer or service staff involvement and without a hard credit check. Customers are informed about these flexible payment options through an automated email and can make informed decisions at the point of sale.
“We are excited to partner with Sunbit to provide dealers with technology that enhances the customer experience while driving service department revenue,” said Scott Worthington, vice president of product planning at Reynolds.
“By leveraging data and Sunbit’s prescreening technology, we’re making it easier for service departments to offer flexible payment solutions with personalized terms and zero fees when and where customers need them most,” Worthington continued in the news release.
Sunbit is already available in more than 50% of authorized dealerships, and seven out of nine customers who apply for pay-over-time financing from Sunbit take advantage of the solution.
Since launching in the auto services sector, Sunbit said it has facilitated more than $1.7 billion-plus in revenue while helping more than 1.8 million auto dealership customers pay for repairs.
“Auto dealerships are always looking for ways to improve customer loyalty and gain a competitive edge,” Sunbit chief revenue officer Tal Riesenfeld said. “The ability to offer access to efficient, transparent financing solutions is a compelling value proposition, especially at a time when the cost of auto repairs and parts continue to climb. We’re excited about this partnership with Reynolds, which will benefit the dealerships we mutually serve and their customers.”
Worthington added, “The automotive service landscape continues to evolve, and customers increasingly expect automated solutions, including seamless flexible payment options.
“This integration will be a big step forward for our service departments, enabling them to better serve customers without adding complexity to their operations,” he went on to say.
