YASSI rolls out federated single sign-on solution for real-time vehicle records
On Tuesday, YASSI — a provider of real-time vehicle registration, title and lien data — launched what the company said is the first federated single sign-on (SSO) solution in the United States for accessing real-time vehicle records.
YASSI said this feature will set a new standard for secure, seamless, and scalable access to critical data in the insurance, lending, and auto retail industries.
YASSI explained state motor vehicle agencies operate in silos, making access to accurate, up-to-the-minute vehicle data complex and inefficient. The company said its federated SSO bridges this gap, enabling companies to securely and efficiently access vehicle records while simplifying user management and enhancing compliance.
YASSI pointed out its federated SSO includes four major benefits:
—Scalability: Provides secure access for enterprises with thousands of users across multiple locations.
—Efficiency: Eliminates the need for individual logins, reducing administrative overhead.
—Compliance: Ensures all users meet state-mandated requirements through automated systems.
—Security: Integrates with existing authentication systems to safeguard sensitive data.
How can it help various industry segments? YASSI put it this way:
—Insurance: Accelerates claims processing by ensuring real-time access to verified vehicle data.
—Financing: Simplifies lien and title verification, reducing fraud risks and improving portfolio management
—Retail: Enhances trade-in and sales processes by verifying vehicle records instantly.
“Federated SSO transforms the way enterprises integrate with YASSI,” CEO Bob Rieger said in a news release. “It provides them with the ability to securely and seamlessly deliver real-time vehicle data across their entire organization. This innovation reduces friction, ensures compliance, and empowers companies to make faster, more informed decisions.”
