American Lending Solutions Expands Relationship with Nationwide Management Services
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — American Lending Solutions recently
expanded its relationship with Nationwide Management Services to include
client-custom, door-knock and other debtor field services, building on the
success of its agent compliance field inspection program that began on Feb. 1.
"Where other companies are just getting their field
compliance programs underway, ours is already ahead of the curve," ALS chief
operating officer Marty Chapman said.
"NMSI has exceeded all of our expectations and consistently
delivers professional, timely service to us and our base of recovery agents
throughout the country," Chapman continued. "It was a natural fit for us to
rely on their services when our national clients needed quality field services
beyond standard repossessions."
Chapman emphasized that ALS has worked hard to maintain
compliance in an ever-increasing environment of regulation. When the company
implemented its 2013 agent compliance program at the beginning of this year — which included several enhanced requirements for agent certification — ALS
turned to NMSI to provide the field-inspection component.
However, ALS pointed out that it chose to conduct its field
inspections and other certification work at no expense to the agent.
"We value our agents," Chapman said. "We understand that
agents are under pressure from all sides in these hard economic times, and this
was one way to keep from adding more. Our intent is to work with our quality
agents to continue producing the kind of results that everyone needs to see."
Chapman went on to mention that ALS has a dedicated
department that handles compliance and utilizes software for compliance
management that is fully integrated with its Wombat Recovery Management
software platform.
Initial and ongoing auditing is conducted through the
system, utilizing a set of stringent requirements including background checks
for agents and verification of such items as insurance, licenses, and bonds.
Once these checks are completed, NMSI is sent out to the
agent's facility to conduct a full inspection, complete a questionnaire and
report with the repossession agent, and to obtain pictures of the facility.
All items are reviewed throughout the process and when the
inspection is completed, one of the ALS compliance team members gives the file
a final review and passes the agent.
"NMSI delivers results for ALS," NMSI president John Marsh
said. "We are in touch with the repossession agents generally within 24 hours
to schedule a site inspection at their convenience. Turnaround time averages
three to five days for most inspections, and orders are managed through our
automated system that provides real-time updates on activities and order
completion."
Building on their successful inspection initiatives, ALS is
now also offering customizable field service programs to their clients, which
can provide services such as door-knock, field address verification, and
verification of collateral condition prior to recovery.
"Putting a hook on the car is only one part of the picture,"
ALS president Jose Mendiola said. "Clients need to have access to reliable
field service as a part of their overall strategy, and those services should be
integrated with the overall recovery and redemption effort to provide the
maximum result at reasonable and affordable costs.
"The only way to accomplish that for our clients to continue
to innovate, stay on the technical forefront, and offer additional value
through strategic alliances," Mendiola continued.
ALS' strategic alliances also include full integration
between the Wombat System and several national leading recovery management
systems such as the iRepo platform for real-time management of orders from
clients as well as several other platforms.
Furthermore, ALS is a provider of license plate recognition
service through a partnership and full systems integration with Digital
Recognition Network.
For more information about the repossession management,
skip-Tracing, and other value-added services ALS can provide lenders in all 50
states and select areas of Canada and Mexico, contact Mendiola at (704)
