SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Carbiz announced that as of July 29, the company has new management and a new board of directors to assume operational control.

According to the company, the new management was put into place because of the prior management team's "abandonment" by the simultaneous resignations of the entire board and corporate officers, as reported in the 8-K filing on Feb. 12.

Stanley Wilson assumed management and supervision of the business and affairs, effective July 29. As the chief manager, by law and the Business Corporations Act R.S.O., Wilson was deemed to be the director of the corporation.

"Carbiz enjoys active status with the Ontario Ministry of Government Services and filed the required Form 1 Notice of Changes. The board then adopted a corporate resolution electing Wilson as chairman and appointing him president and secretary. The new corporate offices are at 6711 East Camelback Road #17, Scottsdale Ariz. 85251," the company revealed.

Wilson is a seasoned auto executive in both the public and private arena with substantial experience in all aspects of the retail and aftermarket automotive segments, including subprime finance and buy-here, pay-here, and in the franchised new-car business as the former president of a NASDAQ company that owned and operated 10 new-car franchises, the company reported.

Wilson is an attorney who has served as general counsel to both the Arizona Automobile Dealers Association and the Nebraska New Car & Truck Dealers Association. The company also noted that he has completed forty going public transactions as part of his reorganization and merger and acquisitions activity.

"No matter how well intended the prior officers and directors may have been, the shareholders deserve a shot at a tomorrow instead of a ‘slam, bam, cease operations walk away,'" Wlison said.

"I hope to work with all interested parties and attract M&A candidates to craft a new path for Carbiz," he concluded.
