CPS Launches Updated Website and New Smartphone App
IRVINE, Calif. — Consumer Portfolio Services recently revealed a new website and the launch of a new smartphone app for dealers.
The website includes a slew of new features, including an online Fund Report and what the company calls the “Sandbox” feature.
The company contends this feature allows dealers to key in “what if” structure scenarios while viewing the resulting dealer check breakdown in real time before the structure is even submitted.
And as for the Fund Report, this contains a quick-view of all packages in-house, as well as their status.
Moreover, complete letter history is now available for dealers, including a funding check breakdown.
The company also explained that the updated system will allow structures that need an exception to be submitted as-is — “and with new validation logic, you may receive an automated exception approval on the spot,” officials stressed.
The website also got a bit of an aesthetic makeover, as well.
Updated design and print features allow easy access to forms and to print applications with a release included, officials highlighted.
And as for the new smartphone app, this mobile tool allows dealers to more quickly look up application statuses on-the-go.
“Phone number links have been added that allow you to call your CPS Analyst with one touch,” the company added.
Commenting on the enhancements, Rick Haskell, CPS vice president of systems, noted, “"This is just one of the many changes CPS plans to help our dealer clients sell more cars and make more profit in 2012!”
CPS is also offering a new dealer rewards program for consumerportfolio.com users.
The company encourages dealers to call their CPS representatives for more information on the potential rewards.
