CENTENNIAL, Colo. — CU Direct Connect said it posted strong application and
funded auto loan growth during the first half of the year.

The non-profit credit union service organization aimed at
providing vehicle lending and origination funding platforms utilized by credit
union members and dealer partners indicated that a portion of this growth was
attributed to the release of proprietary technology internally titled "The
Opportunity Pool."

The company explained "The Opportunity Pool" can enable credit
unions to fund more vehicle loans based on their pre-set criteria.

Through June 30, CUDC's application volume increased 20
percent over the prior-year period. Year to date, CUDC determined its funding
volume climbed 23 percent year-over-year and its member/shareholder equity rose
at an annualized rate of 13 percent during the first six months of 2013.

"We are proud of the continued growth and value creation
that we are bringing to our participating credit unions, their members and to
our auto dealer partners," CUDC president and chief executive officer Blair
Korschun said.

"We expect to see strong growth continue in the second half
of the year based on our improving market share and from new innovations like 'The
Opportunity Pool' that we are bringing to the market," Korschun continued.

In June, CUDC introduced a new approach to what is known in
the lending industry as a "turn-down, pass-through program." CUDC's chief
information officer Darren Lorentz explained how the process is geared to
operate.

"With numerous credit unions in the CUDC program, there is a
good chance that one might issue an approval where another issued a denial,"
Lorentz said. "Our new ‘Opportunity Pool' creates the forum so our credit
unions can quickly and seamlessly identify and decision previously denied
applications.

"This technology is a win-win for all parties," he went on
to say. "The feedback from our credit unions and dealers alike has been
extremely positive."
