FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — After announcing that Klaus Entenmann has become chairman of Daimler Financial Services AG in Berlin, the company named a replacement who will head up the company's Americas division, in addition to other moves.

Franz Reiner, the former head of Mercedes-Benz Financial USA, has been tapped as president and CEO of Daimler Financial Services, responsible for the Americas.

Reiner also is now a board of management member of Daimler Financial Services AG. He will report to Entenmann, who previously was the president and CEO of the Americas Region.

Elsewhere, the company also named Richard Howard as a board of management member to be responsible for Region Africa, Asia/Pacific with instructions to report to Entenmann. Howard previously was vice president Daimler Truck Financial USA and regional head of Latin America.

Furthermore, the company also named several executives who will serve under the direction of Reiner.

Juergen Rochert will succeed Howard to become director at Daimler Truck Financial USA. Prior to the change, Rochert was managing director at Daimler Financial Services Mexico.

To replace Rochert, the company promoted Yvonne Rosslenbroich, who most recently served as managing director Mercedes-Benz Financiera Argentina.

Reiner's successor at Mercedes-Benz Financial USA also was revealed. The company tapped Dietmar Exler, who currently is director Operations Europe and Operations Mercedes-Benz Bank AG. Exler's new role takes effect Feb. 1.

The final executive change the company announced was Rosslenbroich's replacement as managing director Mercedes-Benz Financiera Argentina. Again the company promoted from within, naming Christian Schueler to take on the role. Schueler most recently was executive assistant to the chairman of Daimler Financial Services AG.
