LOS ANGELES — In a state where more regulation went into place
this year specifically targeted at buy-here, pay-here stores, Nowcom Corp.'s DealerCenter
and the Independent Automobile Dealers Association of California announced
today that they have entered into a memorandum of understanding for
co-marketing and co-branding purposes.

IADAC and dealer management solutions provider DealerCenter agreed
to co-market services and products to California dealers to increase brand
awareness, membership and customers.

With almost 3,500 California dealers using DealerCenter and more
than 500 IADAC members, officials believe this agreement will open new channels
of communication to provide independent dealers in California with information
on financing, best practices, legislation and education to better serve their
market.

The two entities plan to provide the dealers with the
highest quality of services to help dealers continue to grow their businesses
and increase sales. Plans for co-sponsoring a spring networking event are
underway, as well as, a series of new service and product offerings for dealers
to offer to their customers.

Both organizations said they will encourage participation
and feedback from the dealers through surveys, forums and user groups.

"We are excited to be working closely with IADAC to help
build a stronger dealer community in California. It is important for us to be
involved on the ground level working together with the dealers to build greater
success in our home state," Nowcom chief operating officer Robert Lekstrom said,
COO, Corporation.

IADAC executive director Larry Laskowski stated, "Southern
California dealers will be well served with the recent agreement between Nowcom
and IADAC. IADAC looks forward to expanding our presence with the help of our
new partner Nowcom so that we may provide better representation for all
California dealers. California's business environment does not allow for
dealers who are not fully aware of regulation and legislation. Additionally,
dealers benefit being connected with the companies that provide products and
services that allow them to operate as efficiently as possible."

Scott Lilja, vice president of member services for the National
Independent Automobile Dealers Association, also weighed in on the development.

"I congratulate both DealerCenter and IADAC for taking the
initiative to develop this powerful industry alliance," Lilja said. "DealerCenter
being an endorsed NIADA National Corporate Partner brings extensive independent
auto dealer financial, technology resources and an extensive footprint to IADAC
to assist with membership growth, education, and member benefit programs. We
fully support this joint undertaking in building a stronger independent
dealership market in California."
