LAS VEGAS — Availability for discounted rooms for the
upcoming National Alliance of Buy-Here Pay-Here Dealers Academy and Conference has
been extended.

Founder Ken Shilson said attendees can secure accommodations
at The Venetian/The Palazzo in Las Vegas for $169 per night until Tuesday.

The series of events stretches from May 14 through 18.

Whether you are new to the buy-here, pay-here industry or
are trying to take an existing operation to a "higher level," Shilson believes
week-long activities associated with both events will be beneficial.

Shilson, highlighted several elements of the training
sessions that take place during the 2012 NABD Dealer Academy in advance of the
2012 NABD Conference

Looking first at Academy sessions geared toward new BHPH
rooftops, Shilson mentioned:

—BHPH 101: In this session, Ingram Walters will explain the
secrets of success gleaned from more than 20 years in the BHPH business.
Attendees will learn all the BHPH terminology from a glossary of industry
terms, which will be a valuable reference tool for the future.

—Developing Your Business Model For Success: All attendees
will receive free projection modeling software that can be used to "tune up" a
business model. Shilson and Brent Carmichael, of NCM Associates, will discuss
how to construct a successful model and the 2011 BHPH performance benchmarks.
Fran Cavenaugh, one of the nation's most successful operators, will share her own
successful business model and how she developed it to learn what pitfalls to
avoid and the BHPH formula for success.

—Acquiring/Financing Your Inventory: Chris Hill, a leading
trainer for the Manheim Wholesale Institute, will highlight some of the newest
technology and tips to acquire the best inventory. Attendees will learn how to
source vehicles nationwide at competitive costs.

For managers who have been in the BHPH segment longer,
Shilson recommended Academy sessions such as these:

—Increasing Ups / Finding Good Customers: Tax Max will
explain how the tax refund business has changed and what you must do
differently to get these important customers. Other experts will discuss CRMs,
successful advertising practices and purchasing leads. In this session,
attendees will learn the latest proven strategies that attract the best
customers.

—Inventory Sourcing 3.0: Keith Whann, of Whanntech and
Columbus Fair Auto Auction, will highlight innovative ways to locate and
acquire hard to find inventory, revealing new tips and technology he believes
will be a "game changer."

—Keeping Your Customers Paying: In the competitive
environment of today, dealers must offer your customers multiple repayment
options. In this session, a panel of experts will explain pay portals, ACH,
debit cards, subprime credit cards and how to start your own reinsurance
company. Participants will learn all the newest ways to keep your customers
paying and your cash flow increasing.

—Getting Compliant Now: Attorneys Tom Hudson, Patty
Covington and Whann will discuss how to get your operations compliant today. In
addition, participants will learn about possible new regulations which will be
forthcoming from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and why you
need to establish positive consumer relationships.

After the Academy takes place, the focus shifts to the
conference, the annual gathering of vendors, lenders, dealers and other service
providers to the BHPH industry

"The National Conference is intended to update attendees on
important developments in the BHPH industry during the last 12 months and to
showcase all the latest products and services," Shilson emphasized.

Some of the conference agenda highlights include:

—Experian Market Insights: Melinda Zabritski, of Experian
Automotive, will provide all the latest industry demographics and explain how
BHPH fits in the automotive marketplace. Experian has made a "deep dive" into
motor vehicle records, credit data and other proprietary information to provide
a credible look at the industry.

—BHPH Trends/Benchmarks: Shilson and Carmichael will explain
the 2011 benchmarks and first quarter 2012 trends. "You can't tell where you're
going if you don't know where you have been! Don't miss this session if you
want to learn how the most successful operators are addressing the latest
industry challenges," Shilson insisted.

—Understanding the BHPH Vehicle Marketplace: ADESA economist
Tom Kontos will discuss the wholesale inventory market, asking why wholesale
prices for BHPH inventory increased so sharply and what is ahead.

—Hall of Fame Inductions: New this year, NABD believes that
now is the time to recognize those industry leaders who have made exceptional
contributions to the success of the BHPH industry. Two inaugural inductions
will be made during these ceremonies with future inductees to be selected by
member nominations.
