CHADDS FORD, Pa. — With the intention of diving deeper into the subprime market, Flagship Credit Acceptance added a pair of sales executives to its team on Tuesday.

The indirect auto finance company headquartered near Philadelphia said it needed the new hires to help lead an expanding national sales force and continue growing its non-prime and subprime loan origination platform.

Robert Cullinan has been tapped as Flagship's new senior vice president of sales and marketing.

The company highlighted Cullinan brings more than 25 years of sales experience to Flagship, most recently as sales director and vice president of sales with CitiFinancial Auto. Cullinan has extensive experience in strategic business planning and business development models.

Officials indicated Cullinan will oversee all sales and marketing activities for Flagship.

Meanwhile, Jeff Haymore has joined Flagship as vice president and national director of sales.

Flagship noted Haymore has 15 years of sales management and training experience, as well as a strong record of developing and executing sales strategies for major financial companies such as Guardian Warranty, HSBC and Capital One.

Executives pointed out Haymore will be responsible for recruiting and developing a premier national sales force.

"We welcome Bob and Jeff and the strong records of leadership and sales management that they bring to Flagship," stated Michael Ritter, president and chief executive officer of Flagship.

"In order to develop a successful business, it is important to have a strong foundation in place on which to build," Ritter continued. "The addition of Bob and Jeff helps us solidify that foundation and puts us in a strong position to carry out our aggressive national growth plans.

"Over the next year, we will continue to expand our sales force and services to better meet the needs of our growing dealer base and increase our volume of subprime loan originations," Ritter concluded.
