Ford Motor Credit Unveils Lincoln Automotive Financial Services
DEARBORN, Mich. — Ford Motor Credit created a new division Monday to finance consumer purchases of Lincoln models.
Officials described Lincoln Automotive Financial Services by stating "the premium customer experience is even more seamless with available financing and exceptional service" from this new company.
All customer touch points — contracts, invoices and customer service support — now are branded Lincoln Automotive Financial Services. Customers can manage their accounts online or from mobile devices.
LAFS also intends to engage customers by sending them exclusive offers and incentives when it's time for a new purchase or lease. Fans can keep up on the latest on Twitter through @LincolnAFS.
"Lincoln Automotive Financial Services is the dedicated financing brand that complements the experience provided by Lincoln vehicles and our Lincoln dealerships," explained Bernard Silverstone, president of marketing and sales at Ford Motor Credit, which launched the brand.
"Current and future Lincoln financing customers will enjoy the same exceptional service, with unique Lincoln branding," Silverstone continued.
Silverstone went on to highlight the LincolnAFS.com website draws cues from the warm colors, strong graphics and navigation capabilities of the Lincoln vehicle site.
Consumers can research financing-related products and services and click to Lincoln.com to build and price luxury vehicles.
"With a strong Lincoln vehicle lineup, an exceptional dealership experience and competitive private-label financing, we expect to drive more sales and loyalty for Lincoln," Silverstone insisted.
He reiterated Lincoln Automotive Financial Services is branded customer financing provided by Ford Credit, which has provided dealer and customer financing to support the sale of Ford Motor Co., products since 1959.
