It’s been a fall filled with accolades for Credit Acceptance and RoadVantage, which both received honors for their workplaces.

While RoadVantage was among the honorees in the Austin American-Statesman’s Top Workplaces recognition program for the fourth time, Credit Acceptance added four more workplace awards to its mantle.

Among the honors for the finance company that specializes in subprime, Credit Acceptance was named a winner among the 2024 Detroit Free Press Top Workplaces, receiving that distinction for the 13th year in a row.

“Credit Acceptance may be a remote-first company, but our roots remain firmly planted in Michigan, and we’re proud to be recognized as one of the state’s top workplaces,” Credit Acceptance CEO Ken Booth said. “This award reaffirms our ongoing commitment to the communities we serve thanks to our generous team members and the intentional work we put into our company culture, allowing those team members to thrive in the workplace.”

Credit Acceptance also has been named one of the 2024 Best Workplaces for Women by Great Place to Work and Fortune for the sixth time. The company came in at No. 29 on the Top 100 Large Company list, up 47 spots from last year.

“With nearly 60% of our workforce being women, empowering female team members is imperative to our business success,” Credit Acceptance chief people officer Wendy Rummler said. “This recognition spotlights our commitment to creating a culture where all team members can thrive regardless of gender, job title, race, work status, or other demographic factors.”

Furthermore, Credit Acceptance has been named to the 2024 list of Top Workplaces for Remote Work by Monster and Energage, marking the first time being recognized on that list. The company earned a No. 2 ranking out of 54 companies honored in the 500-plus employee-size category.

“Building and maintaining a strong remote work culture requires a thoughtful combination of strategic vision, personalized team member support, and meaningful opportunities for in-person connection,” Rummler said. “By prioritizing these principles, we’ve created an environment where team members feel valued, engaged, and connected, regardless of physical distance.”

Also arriving this fall, Credit Acceptance was named to Newsweek’s annual America’s Top 200 Most Loved Workplaces list.

“The Most Loved Workplaces list spotlights team members’ feelings on their future at Credit Acceptance and how aligned their values are with those of the company. These qualities are foundational to our respectful and collaborative workplace, and essential to our mission of making car ownership accessible to those who need it most,” Booth said.

Meanwhile, RoadVantage gained recognition in Austin American-Statesman’s Top Workplaces recognition program based entirely on employee feedback gathered through an anonymous third-party survey, which evaluates key elements that drive engagement and organizational success, including alignment, connection, and execution.

Management said this accolade reflects RoadVantage commitment to fostering an exceptional workplace culture at the company that provides F&I products.

“We are deeply honored to receive our fourth Top Workplaces award,” RoadVantage CEO Garret Lacour said. “This recognition is a testament to the culture of respect, innovation, and collaboration we’ve cultivated together. Our people are the heart of RoadVantage, and this award shows that our commitment to a supportive and empowering workplace continues to resonate with our team.”

RoadVantage president John Lutman added: “Winning this award four out of the last five years is an extraordinary honor and a testament to what sets us apart. It shows that our employees feel genuinely valued and empowered, creating the solid foundation for everything we achieve. At RoadVantage, our success is driven by our incredible team whose dedication fuels our mission to deliver unmatched value to agents, dealers, and customers.”
