HOUSTON — Since the intimate training event the National
Alliance of Buy-Here, Pay-Here Dealers conducted last summer went so well, the
organization is ready to do it again to begin 2013.

NABD said it will host its second-ever BHPH boot camp in
Monroe, N.C., on Jan. 12–13.

The boot camp is set up to provide hands-on training for
both experienced operators and for attendees entering the industry with limited
or no experience. All of the training sessions will be held at the facilities
of iCars, which is owned and operated by Ingram Walters, one of the nation's
most successful BHPH dealers for more than 20 years near Charlotte, N.C.

"This boot camp will allow attendees to actually learn and
see BHPH best practices at the same time," NABD founder Ken Shilson said. "We
have constructed a comprehensive agenda which will address all of the key
financial and operational aspects of running a successful BHPH business in the
current environment."

Walters and Shilson — who have successfully conducted annual
NABD's conferences for 15 years — will instruct all training sessions. The pair
insisted the boot camp is ideally suited for franchised dealers who wish to
diversify into the industry, and operators who wish to avoid the fatal pitfalls
of a start-up or are trying to improve profitability.

Attendees at this two-day event will receive a comprehensive
procedures manual, an employee handbook, projection software and take a
complete tour of all the iCars facilities.

"A modest investment of time and money can make attendees
millions of dollars," Shilson said.

Attendance will be limited to a maximum of approximately 10
dealerships and each dealership may bring one or two people. Attendees living
outside of North Carolina should plan to fly into Charlotte and make a short
drive to Monroe where convenient discounted hotel accommodations are available.

NABD also announced that it will hold its 15th annual national
conference at a new venue — the Wynn in Las Vegas on May 21–23. The national
conference will be preceded by a dealer training academy, also at the Wynn, on
May 19–21.
