MASON, Ohio — Earlier this week, Security National
Automotive Acceptance Co. made a financial pledge to USA Cares, a Kentucky
based 501(c)3 nonprofit, charitable organization founded in 2003 to provide
post-9/11 military families with financial and advocacy support.
SNAAC committed to give a total donation of $45,000 to the
organization.
At a private gathering, SNAAC vice presidents Jason Nesbit
and Rich Oakes presented Alyssa Stephens, development coordinator of USA Cares,
with a donation check of $15,000 in recognition of National Military
Appreciation Month in May.
SNAAC also committed to two additional $15,000 contributions
in 2013 and 2014, for a total contribution of $45,000.
"We are proud to be able to help support USA Cares with this
donation and look forward to more opportunities to help their organization in
its efforts to help our post -9/11 service men and women. USA Cares is a
wonderful organization that helps the men and women who fight for our freedom,"
Nesbit said as he presented the check to USA Cares.
Oakes added, "When I learned about USA Cares, I was
impressed by their goal to help restore financial stability and
self-sufficiency by giving, ‘a hand up not a hand out' and treating all with
privacy and dignity in appreciation for their service and sacrifice. SNAAC is
honored to be able to partner with such a fantastic organization."
Upon learning of the donation, Stephens shared, "We are
blown away by SNAAC's hospitality and generosity. USA Cares is charged with the
mission of financially supporting the emergency needs of our nation's military
and their families. And we are grateful that SNAAC is joining us in that
mission. This $15,000 donation will go a long ways in making a difference in
the lives of those who work to protect us — every day and everywhere."
