OnStar Launches Sweepstakes to Encourage More Customers to Check Out Services
OnStar rolled out a sweepstakes Monday that allows all owners of vehicles with digital OnStar — even if they are used models — to vie for the chance to win their pick of an assortment of OnStar equipped Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac model.
Basically, if a driver has an OnStar-equipped unit, even if they are not a current subscribers, the individual can participate in Push On.
To enter the sweepstakes, drivers simply have to push the blue OnStar button between the start of the sweepstakes (which was Monday) and May 2.
Ten winners will then be selected. Each of these winners can choose any model with any blend of factory-installed options, except the limited-product Chevrolet Volt with extended-range capability.
“More than 6 million customers currently take advantage of OnStar’s advanced technology while the’re on the road,” stated director of subscriber services Terry Inch. “Yet there are many more drivers out there who may not realize all the services OnStar offers, like having access to a live adviser at the push of a button or getting monthly e-mails with key information specific to their vehicle that can help them save money.”
OnStar chief marketing office Sam Mancuso added: “The ‘Push On’ sweepstakes is our way to remind drivers with OnStar in their vehicles, just how powerful the system is, yet so easy to use. Just push a button and you’re connected.”
It appears that in addition to raising awareness, the company is looking for more of its owners to take advantage of the OnStar services.
