Canada’s TRADER Corp. has teamed up with dealer inventory network Bignition and the two companies are rolling out a new tool that allows dealers to buy, sell and trade vehicles with one another.

Basically, Canadian dealers can use the new tool called Tnetwork to check out vehicles other dealers have in stock and create inventory buying alerts.

Furthermore, they can also use it find out when a fellow dealer has expressed interest in buying one of their vehicles. Interested dealers can contact the
Tnetwork dealers via phone, email or instant message.

The new solution — which blends the Bignition dealer inventory network with TRADER Corp.’s vehicle database — is provided under TRADER Corp.’s velociT solution, which is an inventory management tool.

“With the combined vehicle inventory of TRADER Corp. and Bignition car dealers, Tnetwork offers the most comprehensive car inventory in Canada, with live and real-time information, helping dealers increase inventory turns and ultimately boost their profitability,” noted Normand Théberge, TRADER Corp.’s vice president of marketing.
