SARASOTA, Fla. -

Auto Dealer Monthly unveiled in the April issue its 2011 Dealers’ Choice Awards, which lets dealerships vote on the top vendors, suppliers and finance companies.

In total, 54 awards were doled out in 21 different categories, with 45 companies picking up honors. The companies were evaluated by dealerships in the following measures:

—The product or service provided.
—Customer support and service.
—The overall value for dollars spent.
—Whether the dealer would recommend the provider to another dealer.

Sharing some highlights, the publication noted that nine companies took home more than one award and five companies were honored for the first time.

Twelve companies that received awards had won at least two years in a row, with nine of these having been honored seven years.

“Congratulations to all of this year’s winners. They continue to provide products and services that dealers feel are of value to their operations,” stated Harlene Doane, Auto Dealer Monthly’s editor and director of operations.

“As in past years, the 2011 awards highlight newcomers to the awards and annual favorites. For dealers looking to partner with new third-party providers, the Dealers’ Choice Awards offer a chance to learn about top-rated companies,” Doane added.
