IronPlanet Motors announced Thursday that the company plans to host a May 18 online auction featuring free inspection reports for each vehicle offered.

The online auction marketplace for used- and powersports vehicles plans to sell more than a hundred  items in the upcoming event.

The unreserved auction will include units such as cars, golf carts, motorcycles, pickup trucks, SUVs, RVs and more. Bidders should expect to see brands such as Chevrolet, Ford, Harley-Davidson, Jeep, BMW, Lexus, Porsche and Mercedes-Benz.

Each unit for sale is inspected by IronPlanet Motors, and the company will provide inspection reports free of charge. These reports will include photos and condition ratings for the interior, exterior, engine compartment and all major accessories included in the unit for sale.

The inspection reports are backed by IronClad Assurance, and IronPlanet Motors guarantees that all the reports are accurate representations of the vehicles’ condition, the auction company stressed.

During the auction, the vehicles will be sold to the highest bidder, and registered bidders can place bids through IronPlanet Motors’ PriorityBid Service, prior to May 18. The PriorityBid Service can also be used to automate bidding on the buyer’s behalf if they are not able to attend the auction.
