SAN DIEGO -

instaVIN announced late last week that it will be offering its vehicle history and title reports for motorcycles to consumers and retailers via CycleTrader.com for a limited time.

instaVIN reports provide more than 100 key data indicators such as DMV title, salvage, insurance, total loss and other information to help identify title problems prior to purchase.

“CycleTrader.com and instaVIN are providing their users a unique, patent pending, report buying experience,” said Jim Irish, chief executive officer of instaVIN.

“This unique user interface provides a remarkably simple order process and ensures the proper vehicle is represented to the buyer. Users can purchase a report by entering a VIN number, then get the report instantly. They can also pre-purchase and return to www.instavin.com later when they have their VIN number available,” he continued.

The reports can help uncover potential buyer or seller fraud or expose other “worst of the worst” events that can affect a motorcycle’s safety and value, the company stressed.

Vehicle details decoded from the vehicle identification number such as year, make and model enable users to confirm the vehicle is properly represented, it added.

Those interested can purchase a single report for $6.99 while shopping for a motorcycle. For those looking at multiple bikes, they can choose the five reports for $24.99 option.

Sellers also have the option of sharing the instaVIN report with potential buyers by linking to the report on their CycleTrader.com ad listing.

Links to the reports are available on CycleTrader.com’s ad listings and resource pages, as well as other locations on the site.
