Thanks to a recent deal it struck with Dataium, Asbury Automotive Group now has a package of tools at its disposal that can help effectively gauge shopper behavior throughout the dealer group’s various websites.

Per the agreement signed by the companies, Dataium is offering its VisiCogn Knowledge Center and VisiCogn INSITE applications to Asbury.

Explaining what these services can offer, officials noted that the VisiCogn Knowledge Center tool allows Asbury Internet technology specialists to create dashboards and reports that shed light on website performance, buyer behavior and the effectiveness of sales and marketing programs.

Meanwhile, the VisiCogn INSITE tool from Dataium is a desktop tool that local Asbury stores can utilize. They can use the tool to tap into online reports in
real time.

These products are designed to provide Asbury with an unbiased way to gauge website performance. They can tap into such data as unique users, page views, time on site and lead to visitor ratio.

They also provide much more specific information like the models shoppers search for, the website areas that generate the most leads and what vehicles shoppers are looking for outside of Asbury sites. Furthermore, Asbury can learn more about how its websites stack up in terms of share of consumers’ online shopping sessions and lead submissions, among other areas.

Asbury’s Web team can also see how their websites compare to competitors in their own markets and brands as well as competitors throughout the U.S.
