It was revealed this week that the eMotion videos that Dealer Fusion provides to dealerships are now highlighting stores as being Carfax Advantage Dealers, which can give these stores a leg up in terms of fostering buyer confidence.

In the eMotion and eMotion Express videos, the Carfax Advantage Dealers are identified either through a clip of the “Car Fox” character or through a custom voiceover.

“Dealer Fusion and Carfax are working together to increase our mutual customers’ online conversion rates,” said Pierce Plam, chief executive officer of Dealer Fusion. “Our eMotion videos are exciting and engaging. The addition of the Car Fox will increase a consumer’s confidence in the dealership which makes it easier to turn views into leads.”

“Videos have fast become an important part of the used-car research process,” said Bill Eager, vice president of Carfax. “Including Carfax in eMotion videos can greatly influence an online shopper’s dealer choice and expedite their purchase decision.”

Offering some dealer input, Ray Tomeh, e-commerce director for Concord Chevrolet, noted: “We see significant benefits to adding the credibility of Carfax to the eMotion videos on our site. We fully expect that having the Car Fox identify us as a Carfax Advantage Dealer will increase our online conversion rates.”
