ATLANTA -

Manheim Specialty Auctions and Total Resource Auctions revealed Monday that they have renewed their exclusive deal as remarketers for Coca-Cola.

They are also holding a special Super Sale today where 200 heavy truck and equipment units from the beverage company will be up for bidding.

Although the sale will be hosted by Manheim Georgia, the units will be spread out among more than 60 operating locations.

Among the units up for sale include beverage trailers, cargo delivery vans, forklifts, pallet jacks, road tractors and light-duty company vehicles, in addition to other units.

Officials said that buying options will be available for most every transport, delivery or business need.

“All of our remarketing experts stand ready to support Coca-Cola’s fleet needs around the clock and at the highest possible customer satisfaction level,” said Karen Braddy, general manager of Manheim Specialty. “Like the Coca-Cola team, we’re committed to proving our industry leadership to customers in everything we do.”

Steve Saltzgiver, director of fleet operations for Coca-Cola Refreshments, added: “Keeping our 500-plus beverage brands on the move requires a top-notch fleet. We are happy to have a dedicated remarketing partner in the Manheim Specialty and Total Resource Auctions teams. Their global footprint, customers-first service philosophy and leading digital technology all combine to make them an ideal partner for our business.”

Coke will be remarketing via Manheim facilities that specialize in heavy truck and equipment sales, and is also turning to Manheim Denver, Manheim Kansas City, Manheim New York and Manheim Portland.

Those auctions are near some of Coke’s distribution centers.

“The ability to give our worldwide customers first choice of these quality salvage units is a tremendous benefit,” said Bill Tiedemann, group vice president of Total Resource Auctions. “It’s yet another opportunity to match our buyers with the very best selection and value.”
