CHICAGO -

About four months after rolling out the first edition of its Facebook marketing tool for dealers, multimedia and video-marketing technology provider Liquidus has launched an enhanced version of Socialink that is designed to help dealers gain more control over their targeted marketing on the social networking site.

Socialink 2.0 can allow dealers to prioritize vehicle video listings and customize the order they are listed in. For instance, dealers can choose to sort vehicles by price, mileage, age and so on.

Additionally, the enhanced tool lets dealers highlight as many as four vehicles as being "special features."

“We recognize that each dealer may want to highlight specific products based on what they have in stock and what they know their audience is interested in,” stated Liquidus president and chief executive officer Todd Holmes.

“With these new features, they can not only customize the listings, but also tailor marketing messages for visitors on each vehicle page,” he added.

Explaining these in more detail, dealers can post blanket marketing messages on each vehicle details page advertising things like special finance and service offers. Dealers can also utilize Socialink 2.0 to include voting widgets on vehicle pages for visitors to offer their take on cars and provide a reference point for shoppers.

Sharing some more features of Socialink 2.0, it also allows multiple stores in a dealership group to all be included on the same account, making managing Socialink easier for dealer groups. Furthermore, this also allows for more cars to be displayed.

And if dealers so choose, Socialink 2.0 can automatically send them email reports on visitor activity, helping them gauge the performance of their Socialink/Facebook marketing.
