ST. LOUIS -

Vehicle transportation company MetroGistics on Monday named a new director of logistics operations and director of business development.

Gaining the role of director of logistics operations is Jeremy Cope, while receiving the promotion to director of business development is Dustin Ruch.

MetroGistics highlighted Cope brings more than nine years of auto transport experience and will oversee several areas of operations for the company, including assets and logistics, dispatching, key accounts, aging, and track and trace.

Cope will supervise a team of six dedicated to providing excellent service to all clients.

“Jeremy will be a great addition to our staff,” stated William Billiter, one of MetroGistics’ managing partners. “He is extremely dedicated to customer service and has significant experience running a fleet of trucks and overseeing all auto transport operations.”

Management recapped Ruch joined MetroGistics last July as operations manager and will transition to a new role that will leverage his overall industry experience.

As director of business development, the company indicated Ruch will oversee the growth and development of all areas — including technology, operations and sales — in addition to assisting with strategic accounts and major projects.

“Dustin has done a great job helping us grow all facets of our business, including the operations and technology sides,” noted MetroGistics’ Scott Naz.

“As we continue to grow, he will be critical in helping us deliver on our promises to both carriers and customers alike,” Naz added.
