AAA Reveals Car-Shopping App for iPhone
AAA has released a new Auto Buying Tools app for the Apple iPhone that is designed to help consumers become more educated and confident when it comes to car buying.
And as many dealers can likely attest, a confident and informed shopper may be more willing to make a purchase.
The free Auto Buying Tools app lets shoppers sort vehicles by make/model, style and MSRP, as well as customize their own “ideal car down to color and trim.”
Consumers can use the app to see features, specifications, market prices and crash-safety ratings on vehicles, as well as check out AAA vehicle reviews and car-buying services. Though AAA did note that certain models or areas may not have AAA Member Pricing and Reviews.
The app lets shoppers save searches and cars, and allows them to share vehicles via Facebook, Twitter or e-mail. Additionally, shoppers can compare two customized vehicles.
“This tool will give consumers the confidence and information they need to make an educated decision when buying a car,” stated Marshall Doney, AAA national vice president of automotive, financial services and e-business.
“AAA wants to insure its members are prepared and knowledgeable about available member benefits when making such an important decision,” Doney added.
This marks the fifth app from AAA. It can be downloaded at the iTunes App Store.
