EDGEWOOD, Md. -

Dealers and buyers searching through the lanes of Bel Air Auto Auction’s Speciality Sale division will soon be looking forward to a new level of “comfort and convenience,” according to officials.

BSCAmerica is set to open its new Clayton Station building later this Spring.

Just what does this new building entail?

The more than 5,000-square-foot auction arena is designed with double blocks and to accommodates theater-like seating for customers as they bid on vehicles in the three specialty sales that will call the new building home: the weekly Salvage/Inop Sale, the monthly Powersports Sale and the monthly Truck and Equipment Sale, the auction explained.

Commenting on the news, BSCAmerica president Charles Nichols, said, "Our Specialty Sale Division has seen steady growth.

"Our client base has expanded, the number of customers attending these sales has increased dramatically, and we’ve determined that we’ve outgrown our existing facility on site. We’re all looking forward to the opening of our new building, and believe that the design and configuration of the auction arena will significantly enhance our operations on sale day,” he added.

The manager of the Salvage, Specialty and Powersports Division at Bel Air AA also offered his take on the new construction: "We’re fortunate to have a separate facility dedicated exclusively to specialty product, which allows us to address the unique sales and service requirements for these units," said Chuck Comfort.

"The new building will make sale day more comfortable for our buyers, and will streamline the movement of vehicles over the auction block,” he added.

The new building is located at 1300 Business Center Way in Edgewood, Md., just a few miles away from the main auction campus.
