ABC Welcomes Remarketing Veteran Royall in New Role
The Auction Broadcasting Co. announced late last week it has brought in remarketing industry veteran Butch Royall to serve in a position where he will work to set up government sales at various ABC auctions.
Royall’s background includes leadership roles at auctions, as well as with remarketers. He served in management for companies like GE Capital and ADT Automotive.
Additionally, he was in management for BSC America and was general manager of Dothan Auto Auction and Lauderdale-Miami Auto Auction.
Royall’s responsibilities in the new role will also include working with ABC vice president of sales Keith Whetter in an effort to “better service our fleet and commercial clients.”
“We are extremely pleased to have Butch on board,” said ABC chief executive officer Mike Hockett. “His years of experience in the automotive industry have earned him a reputation for providing outstanding customer service, which is the corner stone of ABC Auctions.”
Tongue-in-cheek, Hockett added: “I have wanted Butch on our team for a long time as I need to have at least one person in the organization that is older than me! I believe it’s pretty safe to say that between the two of us we have close to 100 years of automotive experience.”
