RIDGELAND, Miss. -

UCMLink, a recently launched dealer-to-dealer online portal geared toward helping used-car managers meet their business needs, has teamed up with Auto Search Technologies to provide dealerships a national retail listing service and data management hub.

When this offering goes live in two weeks, dealers and their used-car managers will be able to tap into a “one-stop shopping” wholesale and retail resource consisting of two branded sites and a data distribution tool.

Explaining this in more detail, officials noted that through the TheVehicleVault dealers-only wholesale website, dealers will be able to check out off-site inventory throughout the country. They can request trade bids, buy and sell vehicles and request cars they need in their inventory.

When any kind of request is made, it is send via text and/or e-mail to the dealers in the community, along with the requesting dealer’s contact information.
Additionally, the site is integrated with OVE.com and includes other features, as well.

On the retail side, dealers will have access to MyCarMonkey website, which is a national retail listing service.

The Geographical IP Address technology incorporated into the site is designed to determine where consumers are located and then show them vehicles for sale that are in their respective areas. Essentially, this aims to connect dealers with nearby consumers.

It also includes automatic vehicle QR codes and vehicle videos, as well as online credit applications. MyCarMonkey provides printable window stickers and classified posting templates, among other features.

Lastly, the Vehicle Blaster data distribution lets dealers exchange vehicle information and photographs with third-party listing services. Among those third-party services are hundreds of free services, officials emphasized. Dealers can use this to both send and receive vehicle info/photos.

Officials noted the tool can link up with almost any DMS software or third-party listing service for collecting the dealer’s inventory information. That info can then be sent automatically to the desired party.

Dealers can set it up so that data distribution is done automatically each night. Through the blast portal, dealers can distribute their listings to a vast array of classifieds sites.

"At UCMLink, we are excited to lend help to solve the three largest issues that dealers face in today’s market: finding inventory, selling inventory and seamless data management," said chief executive officer Allison Pittman.

"UCMLink is proud to offer affordable solutions for dealerships of all shapes and sizes, and we are here to tell you that help is on the way. Problems only persist until solutions are presented, and we are glad to announce that the solutions have arrived," she added.
